Now the electromagnetic superhero will probably be receiving his very own movie, and Michael B. Jordan is currently on board as one of the job’s manufacturers .
According into the Hollywood Reporter, MBJ joins Reginald Hudlin on the job and will produce through his Outlier Society company. The job was revealed back in August throughout D.C.’s FanDome occasion.
Michael voiced his enthusiasm about working on the job and explained,”I am proud to be part of constructing a new world based around black superheroes; our neighborhood warrants that. Outlier Society is dedicated to bringing to life varied comic book content across all platforms and we’re eager to partner with Reggie and Warner Bros with this first step. ”
Static Shock made his first appearance in the comic back in 1993. He was made by Milestone Comics founders Dwayne McDuffie, Denys Cowan, Michael Davis, and Derek T. Dingle.
Years later, the Static Shock personality had its own animated series Kid’s WB. The show ran for four seasons, formally ending in 2004.
Fans of all Michael B. Jordan already understand he is no stranger when it comes to the superhero universe. He starred at the 2018 box office hit “Black Panther,” since the movie ’s protagonist Killmonger and in addition, he starred and made the Netflix series “Raising Dion,” that concentrates on a young superhero coming to his own as he adapts to his own abilities.
