Deion Sanders is someone who accomplishes any area he occupies and attracts the spectacle and flash to sports which gamers are still attempting to emulate for this day. On top of this, he is not just all talk when it comes to sports, Deion can hang with the best of these.

For the previous few decades, he has tried his hands in being a sports commentator and triumphed, but it feels like he is ready to receive his hands dirty . Sanders has formally approved a role as head trainer Jackson State University, a determination he states God called upon him to take.

“I am truly blessed to be the 21st Head football coach of Jackson State University,” Sanders stated from the school’s announcement on Monday. “It’s my desire to continue this storied tradition and history of JSU and prayerfully bring more national recognition to the athletes, the university, the Sonic Boom of the South, and HBCUs in general.”

Sanders’ movement comes at a critical time among racial strain within our nation that encouraged more expert athletes to begin advocating forthcoming talent to quit dismissing HBCU’s as an option for college. Many pointed their high school period has assembled the base and scouts will accompany their travel even if it is not on the traditional path. With Sanders currently the head of an HBCU staff and procuring a powerhouse venture with Barstool Sports, recruitment is going to be a main target for him, which might change the sports landscape in the favour of HBCUs.
