The 2020 Billboard Music Awards nominees are ultimately here, ahead of the service’s rescheduled October 14th service.

Originally slated for April 29th of the year, the awards were postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. It’s not yet apparent how the 2020 service will operate, however Kelly Clarkson will endure her hosting duties for the third year in a row. It’s secure to anticipate a mixture of live and pre-recorded sections, in case the Emmys, VMAs, and BET Awards are anything to go by. But can whatever top 2019, if BTS had a lot of iconic moments (such as but not limited to: their team hugs, a glimpse of Jin’s RJ, and also the JoBros serenading BTS)? We’ll see.

Billboard rolled out the nominees for this year on Tuesday dawn (September 22), and also a number of the faves are probably from the combination. It’s difficult to believe we are still within an eligibility season with a number of these records, but time is a build.
