Footage in the 1988 Seoul Olympics where Ukrainian Olympic legend Sergey Bubka asserts Gold and fractures the Olympic document from the procedure from the Pole Vault.

In Seoul 1988, Bubka had his first chance to shine from the Olympic Games, having remained from Los Angeles four years before because of this Soviet Union boycott.

Representing that the USSR at Seoul, Sergey Bubka broke the Olympic document using a 5. 90m mark that also gave him Olympic gold trophy. His fellow Soviets Rodion Gataullin and Grigoriy Yegorov join him on the podium.

Bubka would still compete at the Barcelona 1992, Atlanta 1996 and Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. He is presently a member of this International Olympic Committee.
